I always said
that if I were going to buy an Alaskan Malamute, I
wanted to buy from someone with the knowledge
and the experience of an M'Loot Alaskan Malamute
breeder. I do know from my research that Wakon's
pedigrees go further back into the early 1960's. The
majority of people who have a full Wakon pedigree on
their dogs can call themselves very fortunate.
Fortunate because as you should know these Wakon
dogs have been researched
and verified as being clear of all eye and hip defects
and problems. These dogs are the best stock of Wakon's
M' Loot. I decided for myself that I so wanted the
best, so I contacted Mrs. Ross from Wakon kennels,
resulting in the acquisition of this beautiful pup.
She did inform me that she had other colors available,
but my mind was set on this black and white boy puppy. I
think he's quite the handsome boy! Now it is
very important that for all of those people that buy a
pup and when the pup arrives, think that the pup
will grow strong and big without taking care of them
they are very much mistaken. A pup needs to
be checked up and taken care of. A pup needs good
food and supplement . I do believe in "BARF" (raw
meat) and the best available dried food
without preservatives and by
products.
Here (The
second photo) I’m explaining to my vet that I need a
full physical exam of this pup that he just arrived 9
days ago from Washington, from Mrs. Marlene Ross
of Wakon’s Giant Alaskan Malamutes. She has given
me specific information on how to take care this
pup on paper, and she should know better since she has
been breeding this breed of dog for such a long time.
My vet went very carefully through the information
and he informed that she was right- that every good
breeder will give you instructions on how to take care
of a new pup.
Comanche is 9 weeks old in this
picture.
Here is my
vet giving my pup a full physical examination and as you
can see (Now cough for me!) the pup is enjoying it very
much :-) My vet is informs me that the pup was very
healthy and that in two weeks he will do
a blood cell
count.
Checking his
Lungs and breathing. He found the pup coat and skin
bright and shiny, the eyes bright and clear, ears clean
and odor free, nose, throat , & lymph glands normal,
mouth, teeth gums normal, Lungs normal sounds, Heart
normal rhythm, abdomen normal, urogenital system normal,
anal saks empty. Musculoskeletal normal,
Behavioral: normal behavior and responses. Wakon’s
Comanche current condition is good- his weight average
26.70 lbs. Fecal Exam good- keep routine deworming
.
A
kiss before he goes home!
His second
visit to the vet.
Here I’m
waiting for the vet.
We are
taking blood for Blood cell count.
Every one
is taking interest in my pup.
Mrs.
Marlene Ross- this pup is growing beautiful and he is
very healthy! Thank you for sending him to Deborah- such
a wonderful Malamute- we love him down
here. This pup’s weight at this moment is 37 lbs.
OK,
you may go home now until the next time.
